My Girls and lands are collections of the loneliness', memories, mythologies and dreams I have collected from the world experienced and given- here an ideology is made, that which we all share. Within all of us (females), once upon an age, there was hope of femininity and then the slow unraveling of those dreams. The images are references of this unlearning, the journey back to ourselves. These images are field-trips, to literal locations or unattainable illusions, for my participants, my viewers and myself. It is essential to create experiences for my participants, manifest memories of an event created to fulfill that goal alone. I believe the mind has for that which does not have a defined purpose. In this space we are able to see ourselves.

The environments are the places of my days. The subjects captured on film become an equal, if not vital part of their surrounding landscapes. With all luck, the world I aim to capture is successfully documented, and a history is created. With these images, I've worked to create my own archive of time, helping to make the poetic imagination a reality.
